She is crazy, childlike and energetic and that’s what makes Rimy Tommy the soul of ‘onnum onnum moonu’ in Mazhavil Manorama. I love her because she is not trying to be something else, she is genuine and we can see it from the way she anchors. You won’t get any information on the celebrities’ personal or professional life because the concept is different from the other talk shows. Here you can just sit and watch rimy chit chat with the guests, her guests are not necessarily the famous ones you get to see all of them who have made a mark or struggling to be there on this show. Rimi openly makes fun of these guests but no one seems to be hurt by it because she doesn’t intentionally insult anyone it’s just that she speaks her mind so no matter what all comments she passes on the guests they happily giggle along with her. She makes the guest do weird games like filling a battle with water using a sponge or may be search for a ball blindfolded and they shed all their inhibitions and are actively involved. She is a beautiful singer so definitely she will sing, dance and also may be act, well when it’s Rimi you don’t know what she is up to. There are different segments to help us relax from the laugh riot like the rapid fire round or the dance performance by other performers. It’s definitely something I would watch to forget about the stress and tension of my work.
This show is on Mazhavil Manorama, Sunday at 22:30.
